The decision to establish the Nizip Faculty of Education of Gaziantep University was published in the Official Gazette dated February 26, 2010, and numbered 27505, and entered into force.
The main objective of our faculty is to train educators for all levels of formal education who are:
- Committed to Atatürk's Principles and Reforms,
- Producers and contributors to knowledge,
- Equipped with theoretical and applied teaching techniques,
- Able to renew themselves by following scientific and technological innovations in their field,
- Aware of the responsibility entrusted to them in the words of the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk: "Teachers, the New Generation Will Be Your Creation."

Gaziantep Üniversitesi Nizip Eğitim Fakültesi'nin kuruluş kararı 26.02.2010 tarih ve 27505 sayılı Resmî Gazete'de yayınlanarak yürürlüğe girmiştir.
Fakültemizin temel amacı örgün eğitimin her kademesi için;
- Atatürk İlke ve İnkılâplarına Bağlı,
- Bilgiyi üreten, paylaşan,
- Kuramsal ve uygulamalı eğitim teknikleriyle donanmış,
- Alanındaki bilimsel ve teknolojik Yenilikleri takip ederek kendini yenileyebilen
- Ulu önder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk'ün 'Öğretmenler Yeni Nesil Sizin Eseriniz Olacak' vecizesinde yüklenen sorumluluğun bilincinde eğitimciler yetiştirmektir.
